Boryspil International Airport

The aerial gateway to Ukraine, Boryspil International Airport is the country’s largest international airport. In 2005, the international passenger terminal was in dire need of expansion to handle the rapidly growing number of users. To meet this demand for services, the government of Ukraine decided to expand the international passenger terminal and incidental facilities, and requested cooperation from the government of Japan.

The new terminal building was completed in May 2015 and went into service the following month.
